St. Gertrauden Chapel

The chapel of St. Gertrauden Hospital is located within the territory of our parish, St. Helena. The hospital is one of ten Catholic hospitals in Berlin and is situated near Heidelberger Platz, which offers excellent transport links.

As both a chapel and a Catholic hospital, St. Gertrauden serves as a place of spiritual life within the parish. Services are held in the chapel every morning, along with devotions and Eucharistic Adoration at various times throughout the week. To mark the beginning and end of the day, Lauds (Morning Prayer) are prayed at 7:30 am and Vespers (Evening Prayer) at 6 pm (Vespers does not take place on Wednesdays).

Pastoral care is provided by Fr. Adrian Kunert SJ and the Sisters of St. Catherine, Virgin and Martyr (Katharinenschwestern).
